Actually, the process of making oil from coconut is little cumbersome. Coconut oil is found in the coconut milk, which is extracted from the meat of the coconut. Extracting coconut oil at home is a simple process that can be done without any special equipment, but with a lot of energy. You need to follow some steps to it.
Extracting coconut oil from coconut:
Step1: break the coconut and collect the liquid in a container. Set aside the coconut water, you can also drink it.later on you need energy for step2.
Step2: Break the coconut into small chunks and remove the flesh from it. Grate the coconut meat using a food grater.
Step3: Put the grated coconut in warm water and extract the milk from it by using a cloth or by hands.separate the grated coconut and milk in two different places.
Step4: Now you can use the milk to remove oil from it. Use a saucepan to bring it to a boil and stirring constantly, until the water has evaporated and the cream has separated from the oil and turned brown.
Step5: Now slowly sperate the oil from the cream. Allow the oil to cool down and keep it in a container.your oil is now ready to use.
Also, you can use the coconut oil with some other oil, such as castor oil, olive oil and essential oil (rosemary oil).
- Always try to use a good quality of castor oil.
- If you don’t have time to make coconut oil, then prefer a good quality of oil from the market.
How to make hair oil for hair growth?
- Coconut oil
- castor oil
- olive oil
- essential oil( rosemary oil)
Take a clean bottle. Fill the bottle with 60% of coconut oil followed by 20%of castor oil and 20% of olive oil. Don’t forget to add essential oil to it as the essential help to stimulate the hair follicle. Shake the bottle properly to mix the oils. The oil is ready for applying.
Tips to use hair oil:
Pour the required amount of oil in a small bowl based on the length and thickness of your hair. Always warm the oil before applying it on your roots of the hair. And massage properly so that the oil gets absorbed into your scalp. Later, rinse off with a mild shampoo and conditioner. Do this twice in a week.
As this oil filled with lots of beneficial hair oil, it helps the hair growth and prevents further breakage of hair. It heals and soothes dry, itchy scalp caused by dandruff or scratches. It moisturizes, nourishes the scalp and hair and promotes hair growth.
