How to get rid of stubborn Blackheads?

Last year, the charcoal face mask was so popular because it used to remove all the blackheads from the nose and also the chin area.

Have you all tried?

Yeah, I also tried, it works. But it only removes it to some extent and not everything.

Sometimes blackheads never leave our skin. The only way to get rid of blackheads is taking proper care of the skin. Nowadays, there is so much pollution. Our skin gets affected due to it. Finally, we end up with pimples, blackheads and dull skin.

As our skin pores are open, it gets deposited with sebum and dust particles, Which leads to black and whiteheads. And they are so stubborn that if you remove it after a few days another one will come in that same place.

But no worries, I will help you with some simple home remedies to get rid of stubborn blackheads.

Note: If you are using any kind of tool to remove blackheads, please steam your face and then use the tool. As steaming helps to open the pores. And the blackheads come out of the skin easily. Don’t forget to apply toner after cleaning the skin.

Home remedies to get rid of stubborn Blackheads

1. Egg White mask to get rid of stubborn blackheads

Yes, eggwhite works wonders on skin. As it contains a high amount of protein which helps to shrink the pores. Making the skin tighter and healthier. Egg white mask can also be used to firm the skin. Hence it also reduces oil and gives an instant glow to the skin.

How to make the mask

  • one egg white
  • 2-3 drops of tea tree oil
  • some tissue papers

Take one egg, sperate the yolk. In a clean bowl take the egg white, mix it with tea tree oil. Apply it on the nose and the chin area. Then place a tissue paper on it and then again the egg white followed by another tissue paper. Do it for 3-4 times. And keep it for at least 20 minutes. Remove the eggwhite paper mask and clean your face with warm water.

After cleaning your face, don’t forget to apply a toner followed by a moisturizer. As moisturizer helps to lock the moisture and keeps the skin hydrated.

2. Lemon and honey mask for blackheads

Lemon and honey mask is the best option for people who are always in a hurry. Apply it during the time when you are bathing or brushing your teeth. Honey makes the skin soft and moisturizes the skin. whereas, lemon juice helps to remove all the dirt from the skin. Lemon contains critic acid, which reacts when comes in contact with skin. As a result, it removes the blackheads and cleans the pores.

How to make the mask

  • 4-5 drops of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of honey

Mix all the ingredients and apply it all over the nose and leave it for at least 10-15 minutes. Wash it with cold water.

3. Tomato and baking soda scrub for stubborn blackheads

Baking soda works wonder on the skin. As it helps to reduce blemishes and clogged pores. Baking soda also works as a scrub on the skin. Tomato is acidic in nature. When comes in contact with the skin, works beautifully. It helps to remove the unwanted elements on the skin and cleans the pores.

How to make the mask

  • two tsp of baking soda
  • 2-3 drops of lemon juice
  • half tomato

Mix the lemon juice and the baking soda in a clean bowl. Then take a tomato and cut it into the half. Dip it inside the bowl and scrub the affected area. If you want, you can even scrub the whole face. Wash it after scrubbing on your skin. Always wash your face in lukewarm water. It helps to clean the pores and makes you feel relax.

4. Aloe vera and lemon juice

Aloe vera is one of my favorite for DIY for glowing skin. As aloe vera moisturizes the skin and makes it look healthier. And it also makes the skin free of any kind of skin issues including blackheads and pimples. It does not matter if you have dry or oily skin,  you can apply aloe vera on your skin. If aloe vera gel is mixed with lemon,  it works better.

How to make the mask

  • take a spoon of aloe vera gel
  • mix it with lemon juice

Apply the face mask to the skin and allow it to dry. As the mask dries wash your face with lukewarm water. Do it for at least a week, see the amazing results on the skin. It reduces blackheads and all the blemishes from the skin. As a result, you can get clear and glowing skin.

4. Rice flour with curd to get rid of stubborn blackheads

Rice flour and curd is the best scrub for people who have dry skin. It makes the skin soft and glowy where curd helps to maintain the moisture, removing any discoloration of the skin. Turmeric helps to kill any kind of infections and brightens the skin complexion.

How to make the scrub

  • 2 tbsp of rice flour
  • 2 tbsp of curd
  • pinch of turmeric

If you don’t know how to make rice flour. Then I will tell you. Take a cup of rice, soak in water for a night and next morning blend it to make flour(powder) of it. If the flour is wet, keep it open in the sun so that all the moisture goes away. So rice flour is ready and now mix some curd followed by turmeric. Your scrub is ready.

Scrubbing is really essential as it removes all the dead skin. As a result, it gives an immediate glow to the skin. As the dead skin is removed, you get fewer clogged pores and fewer blackheads.

5. Cinnamon and Curd to get rid of stubborn blackheads

Cinnamon is best for weight loss. Well, it also works well for the skin too. As cinnamon contains the antibacterial properties which help to prevent acne. It helps to clean the blackheads and tighten the skin. The curd is a powerhouse of good bacterias.

How to make the face mask

  • Take 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of curd

Tada, mix the ingredients and apply it on the nose and chin area. After applying it, the skin may feel a slight tingling. But not to worry. Keep it for at least 10 minutes, scrub your face and wash it too.
